What We’re All About

In January of 2021 the children of Panama were facing another full lockdown. Children were struggling to find a social outlet.  In order to combat this, Teachers Mari and Vickie came together to start Teen Book Club. A safe way for teens to come together and socialize.  
It was an opportunity for students to study a world class novel in English and improve their reading skills, all while having a bit of fun. 
Teacher Mari and Vickie have 1 goal. To ignite the spark for reading. We want to instill in the students a love for reading and a thirst for knowledge. We know that reading is the key to developing new and important skills. 
Our door is always open to new members, no matter their experience level. We are proud to bring together students from all over Panama City and beyond. Come join our club! — we’d love to share all that Teen Book Club has to offer.
